MISSION:

Celebrating and Sharing Culture Through Arts and Education

RICEMA, is a performance arts and education community center, focusing on preserving the art and culture of refugees and immigrants through education and performing arts, connecting a rich cultural identity to the community and contributing to the American experience.

While we serve all members of Worcester’s refugee and immigrant community, many of the members of this community are musicians, artists, and artisans who practice arts, crafts, and traditional music from their countries of origin. At RICEMA, we support and recognize the power of the arts and free expression, because it brings healing, mending, and love to our community and the world. We strive to continue preserving and nurturing culture for the next generation, and give our community the chance to gather, appreciate, share, understand, and ultimately LOVE each other more.

Join Our Vietnamese Second Language class!

Join our 9-week course to learn Vietnamese through listening, speaking, reading, and writing while immersing yourself in Vietnamese culture!
